Is it too late to learn to read the Quran as an adult?

No. Many women reach adulthood without having learned to read the Quran properly, and many have read it for years without ever being corrected. Both are welcome here. You will be taught privately by a woman, at your own speed, and nobody else is watching or comparing.

You do not need to apologise for your starting point. The teacher will simply begin where you are.

What can I learn?

Classes follow your level:

  • beginners start with the Arabic letters and Noorani Qaida
  • readers who can already read slowly work on makharij and smooth reading
  • confident readers revise Tajweed rules and are corrected on specific mistakes
  • mothers can also learn so they can help their children at home

The teacher, Ustadha Ayesha Azmat, holds an ijazah with a sanad in Tajweed-ul-Quran, Hafs 'an 'Asim, and the Alimah Fazilah qualification. She speaks English, Urdu and Arabic.

How do the classes work?

Classes are live and one-to-one on Zoom, 30 minutes each, using a digital pen and on-screen slides. They are booked around your time zone (USA, UK, Canada and Australia) and around work and family routines. You can ask about weekend slots. If your plans change, ask to reschedule with notice.

If anything would make you more comfortable in class, tell us on WhatsApp at +92 305 9637306 before the trial.

It depends on where you start, how often you practise and how regularly you attend. Busy adults often do well with short, daily practice between classes. We do not promise a finish date or a result. After the trial class, the teacher will describe a realistic pace for you, and you decide whether to go on.

How do I join, and what does it cost?

The free 3-day trial is arranged through the form or on WhatsApp, subject to teacher availability. Monthly plans for private 30-minute classes are $45 for two days a week, $65 for three days and $99 for five days.

If you want to learn alongside your child, a 20 percent discount applies when a mother and child enrol together: see mother and child bundles. Details are on tuition and pricing, or request your free trial.

Questions about best female quran in United States

I have never learned the Arabic letters. Can I join?

Yes. Many sisters start at exactly this point. You begin with the letters and Noorani Qaida, one step at a time, with a patient teacher and no other students. The teacher will check your level in the trial class and suggest where to begin.

I can read, but I think my Tajweed is weak. Is this the right course?

Yes. The teacher listens to you recite, notes the mistakes that matter most and corrects them gently, a few at a time. This is often more useful than starting again. Bring the page or surah you usually read to the trial class.

Are classes only with a woman?

Yes, the teacher is a woman, and classes are private and one-to-one. If you have a question about how a class is run or who will teach you, please ask us before you enrol. We are happy to answer on WhatsApp.

Can I fit classes around work and children?

Classes are 30 minutes and booked around your time zone. Evening and weekend slots can be asked about, subject to the teacher's availability. If your week changes, you can ask to reschedule with notice. Tell us on the form or on WhatsApp what times usually work for you, and we will reply with what is available.

Can my daughter and I learn together?

Yes. A 20 percent discount applies when a mother and child enrol together. Ask for details on WhatsApp or the trial form, and say who the classes are for. The teacher will suggest how to arrange the two of you, whether in separate classes or together, and you can ask about it before you decide.
